European Projects
This page presents the European Commission supported projects and actions with REHVA participation.
ASIEPI (completed)
Assessment and Improvement of the EPBD Impact (for new buildings and buildings renovation)

PHDC (completed)
Promotion and Dissemination of Passive and Hybrid Downdraught Cooling in Buildings.

SOLAIR (completed)
Increasing the Market Implementation of Solar Air-Conditioning Systems for Small and Medium-Sized Appliances in Residential and Commercial Buildings.
ECOLISH (completed)
Energy Exploitation and Performance Contracting for Low Income and Social Housing

Building AdVent (completed)
Building Advanced Ventilation Technological examples to demonstrate
materialised energy savings for acceptable indoor air quality and thermal
comfort in different European climatic regions
ThermCo (completed)
Thermal comfort in buildings with low-energy cooling - Establishing an annex for EPBD-related CEN-standards for buildings with high energy efficiency and good indoor environment.

REHVA In-Focus 2007 (completed)
REHVA Compilation of Energy Efficiency In-Focus Presentations at Clima 2007

ProEcoPolyNet (PEP-Net) (completed)
Network for the Promotion of Eco-building Technologies, Small Polygeneration, and Renewable Heating and Cooling Technologies for Buildings.

EPBD Building platform (completed)
EC Activities to help implementation of the Energy Performance in Buildings Directive in EU member countries Reducing the energy use of buildings without compromising the indoor environment and services is the key challenge for Europe.

EEBD (completed)
Electronic Energy Buildings Directive. Development of an interactive vocational web training tool for the take-off of the buildings directive 2002/91/EC The action aims to make a contribution to the take-off of the European DIRECTIVE 2002/91/EC through developing a web-based dynamic vocational training tool.

Vent Dis Course (completed)
Development of Distance Learning Vocational Training Material for the Promotion of the Best Practice Ventilation Energy Performance in Buildings.
The main objective of the project was to accelerate implementation of a core area (ventilation) within the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) at European and national levels and thus improve energy efficiency in buildings by directly transferring existing knowledge to appropriate actors in a suitable format.
EULEB (completed)
The EULEB project supplies information to architects and engineers throughout Europe to support the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive through providing design and engineering details of high quality, low energy consumption public buildings throughout the EU in different climatic zones.

Alure (completed)
Proposal of norms of energy certifications for buildings in Chile and coorperation between European companies and potential new customers in South-America

Apascue (completed)
The project nick-named APASCUE-EC and conducted over a period of two years, aims to study and propose global strategies, tools and guidelines to promote efficient and cost effective implementation of advanced passive and active solar cooling systems and techniques for the European cities. To this end, it combines and adapts scientific and technological knowledge with best engineering and architectural practice. It is the first time that such an integrated and global study on new and advanced solar cooling techniques is initiated in Europe.
Demlocks (completed)
Demonstration of Local Cooling based on Low Grade Thermal Energy. Dissemination of the local cooling concept based on low grade thermal energy (research in the field of non-nuclear energy).
