REHVA is a leading organization in Europe in the improvement of energy efficiency use of renewable energy sources in buildings and communities to reduce the green house gas emissions. The objective of REHVA TRC is to develop disseminate technical information for the benefit of REHVA members and supporters, enhance development of standards and research on European level, and increase the REHVA participation and visibility at European level activities. REHVA TRC cooperates in technical matters with REHVA members and supporters as well as European and international organizations with similar objectives and REHVA.    

The activities to achieve these objectives include but are not limited to: 

  • develop and following up the work at REHVA technical Task Forces,
  • develop common working groups with co-operating organizations,
  • organize technical seminars and workshops,
  • develop technical publications like guidebooks and reports,
  • disseminate the results from EU-projects,
  • exchange the technical information though articles in REHVA journal, newsletter and website,
  • establish expert networks and databanks within REHVA (energy, ventilation etc.),
  • develop REHVA research policy and general plans,
  • develop workshops for the Clima 2010 congress in Antalya, Turkey
