Building Advanced Ventilation Technological examples to demonstrate materialised energy savings for acceptable indoor air quality and thermal comfort in different European climatic regions
The main objective of this project was to support a reduction in the energy
required to deliver ventilation effectively in non-domestic buildings by
capturing good ventilation practice and disseminating it widely.
The main outputs are based around 18 case studies of buildings that have
been monitored for energy and air quality, including contemporary examples
of buildings constructed in the new Millennium. This is supplemented by
additional analysis of their effectiveness and guidance on how to apply them
in other situations.

NEWS:
- The Building AdVent project and REHVA organized a forum during the IndoorAir 2008 conference under the title "Evaluation of performance of advanced ventilation systems"
- The forum was held at DTU in Copenhague on Tuesday 19 August 2008.

- The AdVent project was presented at the International Workshop
on "Summer comfort and cooling" organized in Barcelona, Spain on
31 March & 1 April 2009.
It was an initiative of AIVC, and the workshop was organized by INIVE EEIG, in collaboration with REHVA and with the European IEE (SAVE) ASIEPI and Building AdVent projects.
