Young Researchers Conference and Award: Energy Efficiency

     

    It is our great pleasure to announce the Young Researchers Conference and Award: Energy Efficiency!

    Dedicated to the next generation of professionals and experts, the conference presents the work and achievements of young researchers in the field of energy efficiency in buildings.

    Mark your calendars for the 24-25 February 2016 and take advantage of this opportunity to interact with researchers and industry experts from all over the world.

    The Young Researchers Conference is held in the context of the World Sustainable Energy Days 2016 (WSED, www.wsed.at) in Wels/Austria.With more than 750 participants from over 50 countries each year, the World SustainableEnergy Days are one of Europe's largest annual conferences on sustainable energy.     The organiser covers the costs of accommodation, meals, participation and local transport for up to 60 selected participants.

    Call for Papers - deadline 9 October 2015

    Young researchers and professionals (born after 1980) are invited to submit contributions by 9 October 2015 at www.wsed.at/call.A high-level scientific committee selects papers for oral and poster presentation. The organiser of the conference, the OÖ Energiesparverband, covers the costs of accommodation, meals, participation and local transport (3 conference days) for up to 60 selected participants.

    Submissions are welcome from all scientific fields (e.g. technology & engineering, economic and social sciences, architecture, law, arts, etc.) and must be in English only. Visit the event website for further details.

    Awards "Best Young Researcher: Energy Efficiency"

    The best contribution will be honoured with the award "Best Young Researcher: Energy Efficiency". The researcher(s) will each receive 1,000 Euro as prize money. The winners will be selected from the oral presenters.
