REHVA was actively present during the latest edition of the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, Milan/Italy – 15-18 March 2016.

This year during the exhibition, REHVA organised in collaboration with AiCARR a seminar on “Principles, expected effects and national implementations of European Directive 31/2010 and 27/2012” on Thursday 17 March, and prepared and distributed with the collaboration of Eurovent Certita Certification a special issue of the REHVA European HVAC Journal.

AiCARR president elect, Prof. Livio de Santoli welcomed all the seminar participants. Mrs Anita Derjanecz, REHVA Policy and Project Officer presented the open training and qualification platform on nzeb for building professionals. Prof. Jarek Kurnitski, REHVA Vice Chairman presented the progress with national applications in the EU towards EPBD. Prof. Livio Mazzarella (co-chair REHVA’s Technical & Research Committee) presented the public consultation on the evaluation of the EPBD. Mrs Delia D'Agostino for the European Commission, Joint Research Centre, Institute for Energy, Renewables and Energy Efficiency Unit presented the assessment of the progress towards the establishment of definitions of efficient buildings in European Member States. Mr Wim Maassen, senior consultant at Royal Haskoning DHV talked about nZEB Hospitals. The seminar ended with the presentation of Prof. Stefano Corgnati (vice president of REHVA) about design strategies for EPBD implementation in the Mediterranean region.
