44th MCE - Mostra Convegno Expocomfort: a busy program of conferences enriches the wide range of products and solutions on display.

In addition to the unparalleled offering of 1,800 exhibiting companies from all over the world, MCE 2026 will once again propose a rich program of conferences and seminars among which AiCARR’s 54th International Congress: “Decarbonising our future: energy, economic and social aspects of smarter and digitalized buildings and cities”.
Decarbonisation has moved from ambition to implementation. Buildings—major energy consumers—are a decisive lever, and HVAC systems sit at the heart of the operational challenge: delivering thermal comfort and indoor environmental quality while cutting emissions. Smart buildings are increasingly using sensors, IoT and AI-driven control to optimise heating, cooling and lighting in real time, while distributed energy resources (renewables, cogeneration, and electric/thermal storage) can turn buildings into flexible assets within wider energy systems.
At the same time, the expansion of AI-based applications and smart automation is accelerating energy demand in data centers, bringing two priorities to the forefront: containing consumption and scaling waste-heat recovery and reuse as part of district and urban energy strategies.
Conference tracks (highlights) - From the EPBD to Design Practice
