Register to the REHVA Brussels Summit 2017
REHVA Brussels Summit 2017 will be held on November 13th and 14th, 2017. SAVE THE DATE and REGISTER HERE!
The REHVA Brussels Summit will launch a new sequence of REHVA meetings offering an intense 2-days event with a new concept and a revamped visual design.
- Monday, 13 November will be dedicated to meetings with the REHVA Board, Committees and to meetings with MoU partners and sister organisations in the Maison des Associations Internationales followed by a seated dinner in The Hotel.
- Tuesday, 14 November will feature a REHVA Seminar “Delivering healthy and energy efficient buildings with EPBD” giving the floor to European Institutions, stakeholders’ representatives, and REHVA Supporters. Our guest speakers will tackle hot topics such as the EPBD review, buildings health performances and the smart readiness indicator. It will be held in The Hotel.
REHVA and EUROVENT Association are boosting their cooperation
REHVA and EUROVENT ASSOCIATION have agreed to strengthen their cooperation and deepen the implementation of the MoU between the two associations representing European HVAC designers and manufactures in a complementary way. The cooperation will include joining efforts to campaign and advocate for indoor environment quality in buildings, to develop joint guidebooks and to share expertise in each other’s technical working groups.

PROF/TRAC Trainer-the-Trainers free webinar course starts in October
On 9 October at 14:00 CET the PROF/TRAC consortium will held the 1st of 8 online lessons of the Train-the-Trainers (TtT) free webinar series. It constitutes the 4th round of TtT courses organised within the PROF/TRAC project, which aims at a life-long learning process for up-skilling of professionals of the construction sector. The webinar is designed for trainers from training organisations of lifelong learning courses for building professionals and it will focus on continuing education in the field of nZEBs. The objective is to give a competitive advantage to the participants, by providing them with new insights and teaching techniques. Register here for the course.
2nd newsletter and new website launched
Check out hybrid GEOTABS brand new website and 2nd newsletter, to know more about this H2020 research project that REHVA and Uponor are partnering.
The project, running until August 2020, aims at optimizing the predesign and operation of a hybrid technology combining GEOthermal heat-pumps and Thermally Activated Building Systems, using Model Predictive Control solutions.
To spread the word and increase awareness about this innovative technology, the hybrid GEOTABS consortium will host its 1st seminar about improved thermal energy solutions for high performance buildings on 4 October in SolarWinds headquarters in Windhof, Luxembourg. Seminar details will come in September.

ISH Shanghai & CIHE 2017 - 5-7 September 2017 - Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Shanghai, China
Under the umbrella of Messe Frankfurt’s ISH brand, ISH Shanghai & CIHE is the most influential HVAC exhibition in East and Central China. The 2017 edition will be held from 5 – 7 September at Shanghai New International Expo Centre in China. The fair continues to play an important role in introducing individual heating solutions to China’s East and Central regions.
The show is co-located with four other fairs: Shanghai Smart Home Technology, Shanghai Intelligent Building Technology, Shanghai International Lighting Fair and Parking China. Collectively known as the “Intelligent Green Building - IGB” exhibition platform (Shanghai edition), the shows provide participating exhibitors and visitors a prime opportunity to explore interrelated building technologies at one location. These include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, building automation, smart home and solar building, lighting and LEDs, and parking facilities.
