Don't forget to register to the REHVA Brussels Summit 2018 !

REHVA invites you to register here to the second edition of the REHVA Brussels Summit, on 12-13 November 2018, for a two-days event rich of contents: an occasion for REHVA Members, Supporters and stakeholders to meet and network in the capital of Europe. The first day will be dedicated to REHVA Committee Meetings and to EU Projects CEN-CE and ALDREN workshops, and closed by the traditional REHVA Dinner. The REHVA Conference “Smart buildings for smart users - implementing the new EPBD” will be held the following day.

MoU signed between REHVA and FAIAR

A MoU has been signed in Seville, Spain, on 25 September 2018, between REHVA and FAIAR - Federacion des Asociaciones Iberoamericanas de Aire Acondicionado y Refrigeration.
REHVA appreciates the constructive role of its Spanish Member ATECYR, that has given a fundamental contribution for the achievement of this result.

Signed by the REHVA President, Prof. Stefano P. Corgnati (right), in presence of Prof. Juan Travesi (left), ATECYR Vice-president, the agreement will enhance the collaboration between the two Federations to promote knowledge sharing and mutual benefits for their members. More



On the road to CLIMA 2019: latest updates for the participants

The 13th CLIMA World Congress, the leading international scientific congress in the field of Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning (HVAC), will be held from 26 till 29 May 2019 in Bucharest, Romania. The 2019 edition will focus on the topic “Built environment facing climate change”. Preparations for CLIMA 2019 are in full swing. A call for paper is open: you can submit your full paper until 1/11/2018. Find here some useful information about the paper submission. The organisers offer the possibility to promote research and know-how by organising a Workshop. The duration of each Workshop is 1,5-2 hours, and it may approach themes that are specific for the companies, institutions, associations or research groups that are holding it. If you are interested in purchasing one of the twenty Workshop slots available, contact Giulia Marenghi at gm@rehva.eu.

Provisional agreement of Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) waiting for a final approval

The main energy efficiency targets that EED brings is a non-binding 32,5 % EU headline for 2030 with a new revision of this targets in 2023 and strengthened Article 7 extended until 2050 with an effective energy savings rate at 0.8 % of final energy consumption. More

QUANTUM project video is online! 1:25 minutes to know how QUANTUM contributes in closing the performance gap in buildings: Check it out. To better understand QUANTUM Quality Management practices, join the REHVA Brussels Summit Conference on 13 November. The project coordinator, Stefan Plesser, is presenting digital tools and services for technical monitoring and quality management of HVAC systems to close the performance gap.

CEN-CE experts’ workshop 

CEN-CE consortium will meet REHVA experts at the REHVA Brussels Summit on 12 November, where a workshop will be held to gather feedback about the preliminary CEN-CE training material.


ALDREN training 

In the context of the REHVA Brussels Summit, on 12 November ALDREN project will offer its first training to unveil the underlying concepts of its common building performance certification to boost non-residential energy.


Mobistyle at the REHVA Brussels Summit

A slot of the REHVA Brussels Summit Conference (13 November) is dedicated to showcase Mobistyle approach to boost energy conscious behaviours in buildings. The project coordinators will showcase ICT-based tools and services that have been adopted to motivate behavioural change.
