Repower Regions: Accelerating the introduction of decarbonised heating and cooling solution

The initiative aims to enhance education and training in decarbonized heating and cooling by empowering 1,200 educators with updated knowledge through a Landscape Analysis Report. This will improve curricular design and training provision, elevating the skills of future labor market entrants.

Additionally, it seeks to enhance training accessibility and quality by creating new skills development materials, including curricula, teacher guides, and online courses for mid-career HVAC and construction managers, benefiting 600 individuals. Moreover, it plans to establish eight regional alliances involving over 50 stakeholders to drive investments in training and skills for the energy transition.

These efforts will foster greater participation in mid-career training and upskilling, thereby advancing the adoption of sustainable heating and cooling systems across various sectors.
