On the 15 September 2020 the European Commission has opened the public consultation on the update of the F-Gas Regulation from 2014. The consultation is open until 29 December 2020 and you can contribute by filling in a detailed questionnaire that aims to explore the general awareness of F-Gas policies among stakeholders and views on its performance and implementation. The Commission is welcoming input from a wide range of actors being public authorities, industries (especially the refrigeration and air conditioning sectors), academia, business associations and individuals. According to Eurovent these questionnaires can take up to two to three hours to fill in.

Additionally, European Commission has also opened its feedback period on a draft update for the EU Rules on Ecodesign and Energy Labelling from 6 October until 3 November 2020. The update proposes amendments to correct minor technical issues such as the ecodesign of refrigerating appliances with a direct sales function.
