The Smart Square project proudly announces the publication of CEN WS 18193/2025, the first official CEN Standardization document on the SRI, focused on procedures for on-site Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI) audits.

Developed under the Smart Square project, this document provides a structured framework for SRI audits, ensuring harmonization, transparency, and practical assessment methods for evaluating smart buildings.

Led by Convenor Dr.-Ing. Paris Fokaides, this document is a game-changer for the EPBD and the EU’s energy transition, supporting the implementation of smarter, more transparent, and energy-efficient buildings.
