REHVA is excited to announce our participation in two of the most influential events in the building services and HVAC sector this spring: Light+Building 2026 in Frankfurt and Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) 2026 in Milan. These industry-leading gatherings provide excellent opportunities to engage with thought leaders, explore innovations, and contribute to discussions on key technical challenges shaping the future of sustainable built environments.
Light+Building 2026 – Focus on Hospital Ventilation
12 March 2026 - 10 a.m.
Room: Portalhaus 1 Transparenz 2
REHVA will be taking part in Light+Building 2026, one of the world’s premier trade fairs for lighting, smart building technologies and energy-efficient solutions. Under this year’s theme — “Be Electrified – Electrifying Places. Illuminating Spaces” — we’re proud to host a focused seminar on *Hospital Ventilation: Human-Centric, Adaptive and Energy-Efficient Solutions.
This seminar will explore how advanced ventilation strategies can better balance indoor air quality, energy performance, human behaviour and regulatory requirements in healthcare settings. Leading experts will share keynote insights, technical presentations, and engage in panel discussions that highlight emerging pathways toward resilient, safe and sustainable hospital ventilation systems.
Featuring presentations by:

Mostra Convegno Expocomfort 2026 – Workshop on Air Filtration
Fiera Milano, Italy
25 March 2026 - 3 p.m.
Scorpio Room at the Congress Centre “Stella Polare”
At Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) 2026, REHVA and its experts will lead a focused workshop on optimising air filtration strategies in HVAC systems. The session will launch the revised REHVA Guidebook 11: Air Filtration in HVAC Systems, offering insights into the latest regulatory developments and evidence-based approaches to improving indoor air quality and system performance.
The workshop will address how updated standards — influenced by the 2021 WHO Air Quality Guidelines and the evolving needs of the post-pandemic built environment — can be applied to practical scenarios. A key emphasis will be on distinguishing proven filtration solutions from emerging technologies that may lack standardised performance metrics.
With contributions from:
Livio Mazarella, REHVA President
Tobias Zimmer, Camfil AB
