REHVA Successfully Concludes Its Participation at Futurebuild Belgium 2026!
Brussels, 28 January 2026 – REHVA has successfully concluded its participation in Futurebuild Belgium 2026, the leading sustainability-focused construction and built environment event held on 27–28 January at Brussels Expo. REHVA’s presence at this key industry platform was widely appreciated by attendees and stakeholders.
Over two days, Futurebuild brought together professionals from across the construction value chain — including engineers, designers, policy makers, and innovators — to explore solutions for achieving net-zero buildings and advancing sustainable practices in the built environment. REHVA contributed to the programme with an expert-led session on the implementation of the revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), highlighting how improved indoor environmental quality can go hand in hand with ambitious carbon reduction goals.
Harm Valk, Vice President of REHVA, actively engaged with conference participants, sharing REHVA’s perspectives on European policy developments, technical innovation, and best practices for creating healthier, energy-efficient buildings. The discussions and exchanges during the conference underlined the strong interest in practical, science-based approaches to sustainable building design and operation.
The successful conclusion of Futurebuild Belgium 2026 confirms the growing momentum around green building strategies and Europe’s collective commitment to climate-neutral construction. REHVA looks forward to continuing this dialogue and strengthening collaboration with industry partners at upcoming events throughout 2026 and beyond.
