On Friday 26.4.2019 REHVA attended the second stakeholder’s meeting dedicated to the Ecodesign and Energy Label on preparatory review study on space heating boilers and combination heaters.
During the morning session, the combination heaters and space heating performance were discussed and the afternoon session was dedicated to the water heaters and water heating performance for combination heaters.
One of the main topics that were covered were presenting the views on decarbonisation in space heating (European Commission scenario 2050); biogas-boiler; primary energy factor (PEF); space heating labelling classes; verification tolerances; (mandatory or voluntary) 3rd Party Verification issue; the importance of the emitter capacity and control and many others.
