The Horizon Europe MODERATE project is calling on stakeholders across the building and energy sectors to take part in the 2nd Market & User Acceptance Workshop on Thursday, 12 March 2026 (online, 10:00–12:15 CET).
MODERATE (Marketable Open Data Solutions for Optimized Building‑Related Energy Services) aims to accelerate the use of interoperable building performance data by creating an open, cloud‑based marketplace where building owners, facility managers, technology providers, researchers and policymakers can share, analyse and monetise building data securely and efficiently. REHVA contributes to this collaborative effort alongside technical and research partners across Europe.
The upcoming interactive workshop will focus on:
A platform overview and system integration walkthrough, Live demonstrations of key MODERATE tools including the Solar Cadastre Tool, Local Energy Community (LEC) Assessment Tool, Benchmarking Tool, Quality Check Report (EPC harmonisation) and Geo‑Clustering Tool, Interactive feedback sessions with Slido polls and Q&A dialogue to shape future development of the platform’s user‑centric features.
REHVA’s role in the project includes dissemination, outreach and engagement with building professionals and policy experts to ensure that MODERATE’s solutions are tailored to real market needs, supporting Europe’s transition toward more energy‑efficient, data‑driven building management.
Interested participants across sectors are invited to register and contribute insights that will help enhance the uptake and user acceptance of data‑enabled tools that could transform how building performance and energy efficiency are assessed and optimised in practice.
