REHVA was present at the 24th edition of the China Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (CHVAC&R) conference, held in Huzhou, China. The delegation was led by REHVA President Catalin Lungu, alongside REHVA Vice President and Treasurer Livio Mazzarella, and Vice President Risto Kosonen.
During the opening session, Catalin Lungu delivered a speech highlighting the strong ties between REHVA and CAHVAC (Chinese Association of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and their shared commitment to advancing HVAC technology in support of a sustainable future. In his address to the audience, which included CAHVAC President Professor Wei Xu, Catalin Lungu emphasized the importance of the HVAC sector in improving energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
In his remarks, he stated: "As we gather here to discuss the latest advancements in HVAC technology, I am reminded of the critical role our industry plays in shaping a sustainable future. HVAC systems are not just about comfort; they are about creating environments where people can thrive, can work efficiently, and can live healthily."
He expressed optimism about the potential for further cooperation between the two organizations to tackle the challenges of climate change and to develop cutting-edge solutions that benefit both economies and the planet.
