Rebeka has joined our REHVA team on 19th of February, as a trainee for Communication, Events and Promotion.
Rebeka holds a master’s degree in Political Science at the University of Ljubljana. She also attended a part of her master’s exchange at Université Catholique de Louvain la Neuve (Belgium), mainly focusing on master thesis about the importance of cosmopolitan global entities and "new diplomacy" in solving global problems.
She has previous experience in policy research, policy analysing, project and event management and communications. After her studies she became a co-founder at Africom Llc, the Market Analysis Company, oriented to the Central African market, which was situated in Slovenia. She was mainly dealing with the project management in the field of solar energy, waste management and wood processing industry.
The latest experience was at the Committee for Industry, Research and Energy at the European Parliament, where Rebeka was analysing and dealing with the legislative proposals within the energy and industry policy areas, especially the latest Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).
