Swegon to Showcase “Future Proof Indoor Climate” at MCE 2026

At MCE 2026 (Milan, 24–27 March), Swegon will present its “Future Proof Indoor Climate” strategy, addressing emerging challenges in energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality (IEQ), and digitalization of HVAC systems. The approach integrates advanced system design, sustainable materials, and intelligent control solutions to support the transition toward low-carbon, high-performance buildings in line with European regulatory frameworks and the EPBD recast.

A key highlight will be the premiere of a new BlueBox unit, designed for medium-to-large commercial applications and presented for the first time. The unit combines high energy efficiency, reduced environmental impact through the use of a natural refrigerant, and outstanding thermal performance, offering a sustainable solution aligned with evolving European refrigerant and energy regulations.

The exhibition will also feature the new GOLD G air handling unit range, Swegon’s latest premium AHU platform. GOLD G integrates advanced airflow management and control intelligence while incorporating recycled and renewably produced steel with Magnelis® coating (C5), reducing the unit’s embodied carbon and improving long-term durability. Enhanced lifecycle energy reporting and optimized system efficiency provide reliable performance metrics, supporting sustainable design and operation across a wide range of HVAC applications.

Complementing the AHUs, premium room units including ADRIATIC, PARAGON and PARASOL demonstrate high-efficiency air distribution and thermal comfort strategies, ensuring healthy and adaptive indoor environments.

Swegon will also present its digital ecosystem, including WISE, a demand-controlled ventilation (DCV) platform optimizing airflow and energy efficiency adaptively, and Swegon INSIDE, a connected digital platform enabling predictive monitoring, data visualization, and performance optimization. Together, these technologies provide a data-driven, evidence-based approach to IEQ management, energy reduction, and future-ready building operation.
