Are you a building professional or student interested in showcasing your building renovation project by using innovative BIM tools? Participate in the BIM-SPEED Competition!

REHVA warmly invites you to participate and spread the word about this exciting opportunity to showcase a building renovation project by applying Building Information Model (BIM) tools developed under the BIM-SPEED project. Innovative tools have been developed for enhanced use of BIM in building projects, which the participants can use freely by demonstrating their building project during the competition. Building professionals or students from different backgrounds (building services engineers, architects, …) are welcomed to apply. Both categories include prizes for the three teams that best demonstrate the use of BIM-SPEED tools. For the student category, the team leader should be enrolled in an academic programme from an accredited educational institution.

New deadlines

The submission deadline for the EU BIM for Building Renovation Competition has been extended until 25 April 2022 (registration deadline is 18 April).

Besides a free license to use the BIM-SPEED platform and tools, the top 3 in both categories will get EU-wide exposure by being featured in communications and events of REHVA and three other European associations (Architect Council of Europe, the European Builders Confederation & the European Construction Industry Federation). This includes a featured article in the REHVA Journal, presentations at a workshop during the EU Sustainable Energy Week 2022 in September 2022 and during the REHVA Brussels Summit 2022.
