Like the three previous surveys, the European Commission and EU Parliament have expressed strong interest in the results. The survey is carried out in the framework of the LIFE Energy Efficiency Watch project (EEW5, www.energy-efficiency-watch.org), which supports policy makers on EU, national and regional levels in improving energy efficiency policy and their implementation.
