Spring is here and with it the special spring edition of the World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED) from 5-8 April 2022 in Wels/Austria. The WSED are a leading international conference on the energy transition and climate neutrality.

The "Fit for 55" package aims to put the EU on track towards climate neutrality. Speeding up the energy transition is critical! In less than 2 weeks, the entire energy transition community takes part in the WSED to discuss how the "Fit for 55" package supports these goals and how to raise the pace of change. The event is organised by the OÖ Energiesparverband, the Energy Agency of Upper Austria. Upper Austria is a leader region in the energy transition: Greenhouse gas emissions from buildings were reduced by 39% in 10 years. 60% of all space heating and 31% of the primary energy already come from renewables.
