Zero Emission Buildings & REPowerEU. How to decarbonise heating and cooling?

Since the launch of the EPBD revision as part of the Fit-for-55 package to enforce the Renovation wave strategy and pursue building decarbonisation objectives, the world has been witnessing an energy price crisis and the global geopolitical order has been collapsing. The European Commission presented the REPowerEU Plan as reaction to Russian invasion of Ukraine with measures to decrease the EU’s dependency on fossil fuels and accelerate the energy transition.

The conference will cover two interlinked topics with speakers from the European Parliament, the Commission, REHVA and industry experts and EU level associations discussing about the technical and practical implications of zero emission buildings (ZEBs) requirements and the phase out of fossil fuels from heating and cooling.
