Welcome to our January 2022 Policy Newsletter! Policy initiatives shifted to a higher gear at the end of 2021 with the publication of the proposal for a revision of the Energy Performance in Building Directive (EPBD) and the agreement between Member States on the first part of the EU Taxonomy. In the revised EPBD the Commission introduces a variety of changes such as a definition for ‘Zero-Emission Buildings’, Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS), Renovation Passport and a more prominent place for the impact of ventilation throughout the whole Directive.
