A draft Regulation has been published by the European Commission on updated Ecodesign requirements for for off mode, standby mode, and networked standby energy consumption of electrical and electronic household and office equipment. Stakeholders can provide feedback 4 February 2022, in an open-text format with maximum 4,000 characters (+ the possibility to add an attachment).

There are two documents that are open for review. First there is the main text of the proposal with lays down general rules and definitions. The second document is the Annex and this has main content of the Regulation with the list of covered energy-related products, detailed ecodesign requirements and measurement methods and calculation.
