CEN-CE

CEN-CE project focuses on qualified building workforce training, developing a training scheme based on the EPBD related CEN standards mandated by the European Commission. CEN standards are used for the common EU voluntary certification scheme of the EPBD.

The project is setting up a large-scale qualification and training scheme to increase the skills of HVAC professionals related to the new EPB standards.

The CEN-CE certification scheme will enable the recognition of experts trained on CEN EPB Standards in the EU wide construction market, supporting the correct use of CEN EPB Standards.

REHVA plays a key role in the establishment of the EU wide CEN-CE certification scheme and the CEN-CE Community of Interest by creating a network of training organisations and certified professionals. REHVA organises EU level trainings and workshops, engages with relevant stakeholders and disseminates the project outcomes to various target groups.
