8th International Buildings Physics Conference

  • When: 25 Aug - 27 Aug 2021

The International Building Physics Conference (IBPC) takes place every three years and is the official conference of the International Association of Building Physics

Hosted by the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) from the 25th to the 27th August 2021, the 8th International Buildings Physics Conference unites researchers, practitioners, educators and students from the construction sector worldwide, who meet to exchange new research and innovative technologies and to discuss current and future challenges and sustainable solutions within building physics. The conference will include technical sessions, keynote speakers, workshops and networking events.

Around 300 papers will be presented at IBPC 2021 over three days. Each of the three conference days will begin with a keynote session followed by four-five tracks with sessions that span over a wide range of topics in the field of building physics:

Physics: heat, air, moisture, light/daylight, building acoustics
Objects: materials, building envelope, whole buildings, indoor/outdoor environment
Sustainability: energy efficiency, durability, circular construction, climate

Find here the overview programme as well as a programme with topics of sessions based on the incoming papers. The organising committee is now working on a detailed programme.

IBPC 2021 will be a "hybrid" on-site and online conference. You can register for the online conference now and upgrade for the on-site conference later.
