Light+Building 2022

Light + Building will take place at the Frankfurt Exhibition Grounds from 2 to 6 October 2022. More than 1,300 exhibitors from 46 countries are already lined up for the restart of the lighting and building technology sector in autumn. They will provide a broad industry overview and insight into the topics of lighting, electrical engineering, home and building automation and security technology.

At the leading international trade fair for lighting and building technology, the industry presents intelligent and connected solutions, forward-looking technologies and current design trends. They help to increase the economic efficiency of buildings, achieve defined climate targets and at the same time increase the users' need for comfort and safety. What moves the industry is also reflected in the Light + Building top themes. They are called "Green Deal & Sustainability", "Electrification & Digitalisation" and "Light & Design".

For the first time, the international meeting place will also bring all participants together digitally. The Light + Building Digital Extension will be available for exchange from 2 to 14 October 2022. The additional offer helps to find targeted contacts via AI-supported match-making. Exhibitors can offer product presentations via video streaming and contact customers digitally. In addition, the Light + Building programme is available here on-demand.

Connected security is an integral part of the smart home and smart building. As a result, Light + Building will bundle the range of products and services on this subject in the Intersec Building section in Hall 8.0, where the topics of video technology and access control will be equally present as data and fire protection. In the immediate vicinity, the Intersec Forum, a trade conference for connected security technology, will enrich the product range with an exciting congress programme from 3 to 6 October 2022.

The Light + Building Autumn Edition is a one-off event and is being held at the request of the industry because Light + Building was postponed in the spring due to Corona. In 2024, Light + Building will return to its traditional date in March.
