Program
15 May: Mechtalks Conference will take place to discuss the most-trendy topics with a focus on climate crisis and sustainability. After this full day of Conference and discussion, TTMD is happy to invite you to the Welcome Reception capturing amazing pictures on the unforgettable Bosphorus night cruise. Get ready to sail on this 2 hours boat ride that shows you the best sights along the Bosphorus Strait, and admire the beauty of Istanbul by night. This event is only for REHVA Member Associations and Supporters.
16 May: REHVA Committee Meetings & REHVA Student Competition
- The REHVA Committee Meetings will focus on the internal activities of REHVA. During the Standing Committee Meeting, members will gather to discuss and address key issues and initiatives related to our organisation as well as share the results from 2023 and plan the activities for 2024.
- The yearly REHVA Student Competition will take place in the afternoon.
17 May: the morning will start with the Member Associations Plenary Meeting followed by the 68th General Assembly. All participants are invited for a lunch to close the REHVA Annual Meeting 2024. The day will continue with the opening of the CLIMAMED Congress which will be followed by Climamed 25th Anniversary Reception.
17 - 18 May: 11th HVAC Mediterranean Congress Climamed, integrated in the 3 years cycle of REHVA related conferences (CLIMA, Climamed and Cold Climate), is under the responsibility of five HVAC associations of Southern Europe countries, that assure the membership of the respective countries in REHVA: AICARR, AICVF, ATECYR, OE, TTMD. CLIMAMED 2024 will be hosted by TTMD with the motto of "Towards Decarbonized Buildings and Cities" intending to represent a meaningful contribution to the solution of the problems posed to humanity. It will take place on the 17th afternoon in Nippon Hotel. After having welcome speeches and two sessions, CLIMAMED 25th Anniversary Reception will be held on the same day in the evening. On 18 May, the sessions will be online.

How to reach Istanbul from the airports
ISTANBUL AIRPORT (EUROPEAN SIDE OF ISTANBUL)
Located on the European side of Istanbul, by the Black Sea shore, the new airport is situated at the junction of Çatalca- Göktürk-Arnavutköy, between the Tayakadın and Akpınar villages. The Istanbul Airport can be easily accessed by public transportation such as busses and airport transfer shuttles, as well as taxi and private vehicles. On the European side, the airport is 40 kilometers from Taksim.

Havaist offer services to passengers who are looking to access Istanbul Airport via public transportation.
Havaist provides luxury passenger and luggage transportation services in 11 separate lines and with 34 stations. Ensuring full time city integration from Istanbul Airport.

Taxi
Taxi service is offered at the Istanbul Airport 24/7, thereby covering both flight times as well as all periods outside of flight schedules. Three types of taxis are utilized for this service, comprised of black “E” type, blue “D” type, and orange “C” type taxis. Passengers wishing to benefit from Taxi service may use the vehicles located on the departure floor (2nd floor) in addition to those at the main stops in front of the Domestic and International Passenger exits in Plaza section.
SABIHA GOKCEN AIRPORT (ASIAN SIDE OF ISTANBUL)
The airport located on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. You can get to various parts of Istanbul via public buses, metro and metrobus. Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport located at Pendik / Kurtköy is 50 km away from Taksim. Airport offers easy access, via a direct link to TEM highway.
Besides private car, multiple options are available to the traveller via intermodal transport; including taxis, rent-a-car, public bus, private bus (Havaş and Havataş), sea bus and train.
HAVABUS SHUTTLE
With HAVABUS Shuttles you can travel to and from Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Taksim. The shuttles are white colored and parked in front of the terminal building arrivals level exit ready to take you to Taksim. Shuttle’s Taksim departure point is right across Taksim Point Hotel, next to Nippon Hotel, 1 min. walking distance. Shuttles work between 24 hours a day.
