The BIM-SPEED Consortium held an info session on the EU BIM for Building Renovation Competition on 21 March 2022. The presentations explained the scope of the competiton, how interested participants can register and more detailed information was provided about the BIM tools that can be used within the competition.
The EU BIM for Building Renovation Competition is open until 25 April 2022 for both professionals and students with different professional backgrounds (engineers, HVAC design, architects). During the competition professional & student teams will need to present a renovation design project, which will be assessed by a jury, based on an existing demonstration site. The winners will be able get the opportunity to get a mentorship with UNStudio (suitable for architect students only), present their results at EU-wide events and get a featured article in the REHVA Journal.
