The annual meeting of REHVA's German Member Association VDI-GBG, that was held on the 5th October 2012 in Strasbourg, deserving members of the VDI Department was honored by REHVA.
REHVA president prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Schmidt has granted the status of REHVA Fellow to Prof. Dr.-Ing. M. Martin F. Brunk and Dipl.-Ing. Jürgen Diehl in recognition of their outstanding services to REHVA and work for the improvements of energy efficiency and the indoor environment of buildings.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus W. Usemann received the outstanding golden pin that goes together with the golden medal award of REHVA he received in 2003 for his outstanding life-time work and achievements in science and technology, in teaching and practice, and for being a role model for younger generations, and inspiring creativity within the fields of competence of REHVA.
Prof. Brunk received during this meeting also the very prestigious ‘Hermann-Rietschel-Ehrenmedaille’ of VDI for his outstanding achievements in the field of building services.
