The Commission launched this week its EU-wide public European Product Registry for Energy Labelling (EPREL) database enabling consumers to compare the energy efficiency class and other data about different household products with detailed information on well over 1 million products. Established under the Energy Labelling Framework Regulation in 2017, the EPREL registry has been operational since 2019, but only accessible by public authorities and producers. The database covers over 30 product groups including several HVAC products.
