On 6 June, ITRE rapporteur Ciarán Cuffe published the ITRE Draft Amendments on the EPBD recast proposal of the Commission. The draft contains many ambitious amendments for a more comprehensive and rapid transformation of Europe’s building stock compared to what was proposed by the Commission.  The ITRE deadline for tabling amendments is 5 July 2022. The final approval in the ITRE committee and at the EP plenary are expected after the summer, coordinated also with the ITRE vote on the EED Amendment Report.
