The feasibility study on inspection of ventilation systems commissioned by the European Commission (EC) finished and the final report was approved and published by the EC in January 2020. REHVA was involved in the study work and provided information on existing national inspection related regulations, standards and guidelines collected from Member Associations and contributed to the description of the technical aspects and scope of possible inspection options.
The study had 3 main parts resulting in four reports:
- Review of regulations, guidelines and standards
- Analysis of relevance, feasibility and scope of possible measures at EU-level for the inspection of stand-alone ventilation systems
- Stock of ventilation systems in EU buildings and foreseen evolution for 2030, 2040 and 2050
- Selection of policy options for inspections
