After months of negotiations the European Commission has adopted the Taxonomy Climate Delegated Act on 21 April 2021. Through this the Taxonomy Regulation aims to create a common language for investors to be able to identify truly sustainable investments that have a substantial positive impact on the climate and the environment.

The Taxonomy Regulation can have a large impact on investments going into sustainable buildings in the coming years. Later this year REHVA will provide an overview on how this impact the construction sector in the Expert Area.

Earlier this year the REHVA Journal published an article that provides informative feedback on the taxonomy classification system for the building and HVAC sector.
