On Wednesday, 29th January the European Commission adopted its 2020 Work Programme.
This new program indicates new policy objectives for 2020 encouraging the kick-starting transition to a fair, climate neutral and digital Europe. During the first quarter of this year, some of the new policy objectives will influence HVAC sector such as policies under:
- European Green Deal following by »European Climate Law« and »European Climate Pact«
- Financing the sustainable transition corresponding to »European Green Deal Investment Plan«, »Just Transition Fund« and »Renewed Sustainable Finance Strategy«
- Decarbonising energy containing »Strategy for smart sector integration« and Renovation wave«
- Sustainable production and consumption with a »New Circular Economy Action Plan«.
