On Wednesday, 29th January the European Commission adopted its 2020 Work Programme.

This new program indicates new policy objectives for 2020 encouraging the kick-starting transition to a fair, climate neutral and digital Europe. During the first quarter of this year, some of the new policy objectives will influence HVAC sector such as policies under:

  1. European Green Deal following by »European Climate Law« and »European Climate Pact«
  2. Financing the sustainable transition corresponding to »European Green Deal Investment Plan«, »Just Transition Fund« and »Renewed Sustainable Finance Strategy«
  3. Decarbonising energy containing »Strategy for smart sector integration« and Renovation wave«
  4. Sustainable production and consumption with a »New Circular Economy Action Plan«.
