The European Commission has opened the feedback period on the impact assessment concerning the revision of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). Within the context of the Renovation Wave the objective has been set to at least double the annual energy renovation rate of buildings by 2030. To assess the best approach to fulfil this objective, the Commission is in the process of receiving feedback from stakeholders on the possible improvements to the EPBD.
Feedback can be given through the format of an open text with a limit of 4.000 characters. Attachments can be added to the feedback as well, e.g. research on which it's based.
