The European Commission has opened up the feedback period for the Delegated Regulation, under the Energy Efficiency Directive 2012/27/EU, on the harmonised efficiency reference values for separate production of electricity & heat in the context of cogeneration. Stakeholders can provide their feedback on the Delegated Regulation and the Annex until 30 December 2022 in an open text format with 4,000 character max.

The Energy Efficiency Directive is currently being revised by the EU insititutions based on the proposal from the Commission that was published last year in July 2021 under the first package of Fit for 55. Both the European Parliament and Council of the EU have published their positions earlier this year and the negotiations between the insitutions are expected to be finalised soon on the revised EED.
