The European Parliamentary Research Service has released a briefing on the implementation of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) that has adopted in 2011 and is in force since 2013. The briefing provides an overview of the background and legal framework of the CPR and the conclusions from different impact assessment reports, evaluations and resolutions on the CPR by EU institutions and stakeholders since 2013.  

The publication of this document has to be seen in light of the upcoming revision of the CPR by the end of March 2022, where the Commission planning to propose amendments to the Regulation based on difficulties that were revealed in the implementation and evaluation reports throughout the years.
