After the informal trilogue on December 7, 2023, at the European Parliament, involving representatives from the three institutions to discuss the subject Directive, on January 15th, the draft compromise text has received approval from the Permanent Representatives Committee (ITRE): 38 in favour, 20 against and 6 abstentions.
Next step, the plenary will vote in the coming weeks.
The Annex contains the consolidated compromise text of the EPBD draft Directive, subject to revisions by the legal linguists of both Institutions.
