REHVA, EVIA and several professional and industry associations co-signed a joint letter to Member States calling them to support a progressive EPBD recast after the trialogue negotiations were stuck due to lack of willingness by Member States to develop a consensus. The EPBD is crucial to achieve our climate goals in the building sector, and we can’t wait 10 years in this rapidly evolving sector for improving regulatory and policy framework. The Council should be open to work on a progressive consensus document to deliver healthy and efficient buildings for all European citizens.
