The 20th october 2023, the European Commission revised the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan). The plan signifies a significant step toward advancing the transition to a climate-neutral energy system through the development of low-carbon technologies.
This initiative is strategically aligned with the objectives of the European Green Deal by renewing policy goals and targets for innovative clean energy solutions, preparing for their widespread deployment, and fostering collaboration by pooling both national and European research and innovation resources. In doing so, the SET Plan serves as a pivotal driver in the pursuit of a sustainable and environmentally responsible energy landscape within the European Union.
