More than 20,000 delegates representing 90 countries gathered in Cannes for MIPIM 2024, bringing investors, political leaders and the real estate community together to facilitate relationships and find solutions to the challenges facing the built environment. Innovative solutions aimed at accelerating the transition towards a more sustainable model took center stage at the event. The Road to Zero area, a focal point integrating exhibition, networking, and conference spaces, offered a specific emphasis on practical approaches to decarbonise the real estate industry, with sessions on the use of artificial intelligence for real-estate, buildings and the climate agenda, and new ways of building.

REHVA participated at MIPIM 2024 to represent the innovative forefronts of the Smart Readiness Indicator, powered by the European Commission and Next Gen HVAC, powered by REHVA supporter Belimo.

REHVA was stationed at the 2 adjacent Smart Readiness Indicator and REHVA Next Gen HVAC demodesks (P-1.C69 in the RoadtoZero area), showcasing on one side the SRI Support Team & the four LIFE Programme projects easySRI, Smart Square, SRI-ENACT and SRI2MARKET and on the other side the REHVA offering and added value contribution to advancing the building sector at large and the HVAC dimension in particular with the ultimate dual goal to decarbonise the building stock and ensure adequate & optimal Indoor Environmental Quality for the people. Furthermore REHVA raised awareness on the EPBD Recast happenings and the upcoming changes that will positively impact the real estate market.
