Just few months before the much-anticipated proposal of the third EPBD revision by the Commission, the (optional) national testing phase of the Smart Readiness Indicator is now supported by a dedicated technical assistance service for testing and implementation of the SRI.
Members States that opt-in for testing the SRI will be able to access these services that include the set-up of a direct support framework:
The SRI platform will be a forum that allows all interested parties to exchange information and share experiences on national SRI testing. It will also function as a multi-stakeholder forum to support and monitor the SRI implementation and suggest recommendations on the future evolution of the SRI.
The SRI assessment package which includes the SRI calculation framework (MS Excel) and a practical guide for assessors focusing on the use of the spreadsheet tool.
SRI training aiming to train experts for rating the smartness of the buildings.
The first SRI platform meeting will take place in December 2021.
More information about the SRI and the SRI platform can be found at REHVA’s Knowledge Hub.
