We would like to draw your attention to the Call for Papers and Speakers of the World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED), an international event endorsed by REHVA.There are only a few days left to submit your work.

Boosting economic recovery with the energy transition – this is the focus of the next WSED from 24 – 26 February 2021 in Wels/Austria.

What is it all about? 

Europe has the ambitious goal of becoming the first climate neutral continent by 2050. The Green Deal and the EU Climate Law are first concrete steps. The current economic challenges are also an opportunity to accelerate decarbonisation. The conference will show how we can make a green recovery happen in practice and how energy efficiency as an investment engine can contribute to this deep transformation.

Young Energy Researchers Conference – A great opportunity for young professionals!

An integrated part of the WSED, this conference presents the work and achievements of young researchers (born after 1985) in the fields of energy efficiency and biomass. The organiser covers the costs for up to 60 selected participants. The best contributions are honoured with the "Best Young Energy Researcher Awards" and receive 1,000 Euro as prize money.

The event is organised by the OÖ Energiesparverband, the regional energy agency of Upper Austria. The current plan is to hold the conference as a "hybrid event" (combination of in-person and digital event).
