The EU Green Deal and the Renovation Wave strategy set ambitious targets to decarbonize the EU building stock by 2050 and to triple rate annual the deep energy renovation. To reach the goals, we need to renovate up to 35 million buildings in the coming decades in the EU.

To achieve this, the EU is revising the EPBD along other key directives linked to the energy performance and sustainability of buildings and technical systems to make policies “Fit for 55”.  The Commission proposal on the revised EPBD is supposed to be published on 14 December.

Our expert talk will discuss how the revised EPBD can help creating the necessary policy environment and how HVAC designers, manufacturer and solution providers can make this massive scale renovation happen at high quality and efficiency delivering also good indoor climate quality with deep energy renovation. Experts will give short interventions followed by an informal discussion.
