During the REHVA Conference, REHVA staged a student competition for building services. 8 National Associations of REHVA nominated a national champion for this competition.

Ranking first was Rik Maaijen from the Technical university of Eindhoven in The Nederlands for his work on “Occupant-oriented energy control by taking the human in the control loop of building systems”. The work was supervised by Prof. Wim Zeiler. A summary of his work can be downloaded as a PDF file.
